Date Night OOTD.

Yankees was calling me and my other half today, so we decided to go out to dinner. I haven't been 'dressed up' in a while recently so I called it an official date. I teamed my trusty PU leggings and Jeffrey Campbell 'Lita' boots with a wine coloured blazer and cream accessories. It was actually a really cute outfit and dinner was so yummy!

This is the blazer (Primark, £17) that I wore over a simple cream cami. I wore it with the cream scarf from my last Primark Haul. The necklace is also a new Primark purchase, only £2!

Without the scarf, it looks pretty dressy. This is a perfect smart-casual look for me.

I wore my PU leggings (surprise, surprise!) with this look. You can see in this picture I added a studded gold belt (Primark, £2) and the studded bracelet (Primark, £3) which I seem to be wearing everyday at the minute! It's so cute yet adds a real edge.

I wore my Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots tonight. I love them. They're so comfy and easy to walk in. And when you're only 5ft 5" and you other half is over 6 foot, it comes in handy to have big heels! I forgot to take a picture but I wore a cream handbag that I got in Topshop last year with it.

Primark Haul ft OOTD.

As I mentioned, I wanted to get a loose knit cream jumper to wear with my gold PU leggings I got in my last Primark Haul. I popped out Monday evening and ended up back in Primark - their stock changes so much you have to be there everyday! I found exactly what I wanted and I also got a sheer shirt for underneath it and a cute scarf so this is officially a sneaky Primark haul too. I haven't decided what boots (I want boots!) to wear with the gold leggings yet so this time I've stuck to black. This is also my first time using actual pictures to do an OOTD post so please bear with me while I get used to it!

The cream jumper is exactly what I was looking for. It's light weight and will be great in the Spring months too. I bought it in the size bigger so it would be a loose fitting one and I think it looked really good that way. I didn't want to over accessorise  this outfit so I haven't got a necklace on. The jumper is from Primark and is available now for only £8.

Under the jumper I am wearing this sheer shirt that I picked up - and a cream cami under that. It's a lovely shirt, half button down with gold buttons. It's again quite a loose fit but I bought it in the right size so it would look good under the jumper. I think it would look great on it's own too. It was £10 from Primark, available now.

On my bottom half I am wearing a pair of black PU leggings and my black studded pumps which I bought off eBay. For the evening, I'll change into my JC Litas.

For accessories, I am wearing the bracelet and the ring that I purchased in my last Primark haul - note not on the same hand! The scarf was another today Primark buy. It was only £4 and the liked the shimmer on it, a lot nicer than a flat cream scarf. My only question now is, how much cream is too much?

I also have Essie Vanity Fairest on the nails and MAC Marquise D' on the lips.

#blogmas. Day One.

So, you may notice this first post is a day late. I promise you it isn't. For some reason, Blogger didn't put it up on schedule so I've just done it automatically - sorry! I'm also going to stop doing my about me posts and my week in pictures posts this month as I think these will be enough for you.

I've seen a few posts on Twitter and blogger saying people are going to do this and I think it's a great idea. I have no where near enough confidence to do vlogs but I do like to blog about everyday life - not just beauty and fashion. I'm going to try my absolute hardest to do these posts everyday, but if there are  few sneaky day-late posts, don't shout at me!

Today was  busy day. We had the Trussell Trust Foodbank collection nationwide at Tesco. It was a huge success and there is still all day tomorrow to go yet. I am a volunteer at Foodbank and we give out emergency food for people in a crisis. We did our collection at the Tesco Extra in Burngreave, Sheffield. Tesco have been amazing through the whole thing, offering to help collect, sort, deliver and even store all the products we are given. And most importantly, they are going to give us an extra 30% on top of what we get from the public. We had an amazing time there and were made to feel very welcome. I did 9am until 1pm so it was long morning but it really was brilliant.

After I'd finished up, I headed out to do a little shopping - needed to treat myself! I picked up some amazing bits in Primark - can anyone say gold? There are some Black PU leggings in there too, under the gold ones. I'm going to do a haul post with this lot tonight as I think some of you will really love what I picked up. And who doesn't love a Primark haul, be honest? If I'm totally honest, I have no clue when I'm going to wear the gold leggings but they were £6 - the bad thing about Primark. I was thinking with a cream loose-knit jumper or an all black outfit, maybe?

I also went into Lush to pick up a few bits. They had sold out of my toner tabs and I almost cried. I really, really wanted to have a good steam. Sad face! But I did pick up loads of nice bath goodies for the cold nights. One or two were from the Christmas range so expect a review on those soon. I have to admit, I'd prefer to see a Christmas bag than this one. Where is the snow and fairies and all things pretty?

I made my favourite pasta dish last night - I don't know where the picture has gone, sorry! It's just plain pasta, bacon all cut up and cucumber. I am well aware that it sounds boring as shit but it's really yummy. I used to eat it all the time and it went down a treat with a glass of Pinot after a hard day. I'm also looking after my parents' dogs this weekend so up late walking them, up early tomorrow to walk them. Sigh.

My Week in Pictures!

Monday.  I am the ultimate Toberlone fiend.

Tuesday. Bought a new Essie polish today. This is Lacquered Up, a gorgeous scarlet red. It's perfect for Christmas parties.

Wednesday.  I made tuna pasta bake tonight for dinner, it was delicious.

Thursday. Dying my hair with this tonight - I can't wait to add more purple. The Live XXL Luminance range is really good for my dark hair.

Friday. My favourite place in the entire city. It's so peaceful.

Saturday.  Did a little shopping in Primark today.

Sunday. The perfect Sunday. Enough said.

Primark Haul!

This isn't something I usually do - haul my clothing and accessories, but I picked up a few little bits in Primark this weekend that I wanted to share with you. They're all really nice pieces at an even nicer price. I find that Primark is pretty hit and miss - sometimes you can buy half the shop and sometimes it's a disaster.

This gold studded belt is a great piece. I'm looking forward to wearing this against black jeans or PU leggings to add a little something. It's a great colour - not too in your face. At only £2 it's also a complete bargain. I'm sorry for now many times I say that in this blog post.

Recognise these? They are super similar to my bargain 80p market earrings but these drop cross earrings are just a touch bigger and a little heavier so they're a bit easier to wear as a statement piece - which I will be doing. The are a yellow gold so they'll go well with... well, the rest of what I bought today! Did I mention they were only £1?

Isn't this gold studded ring just beautiful. It's big, it's flash and it's bloody beautiful. A real statement piece. As you can see it was only £2 and it's probably worth more than that as scrap metal - it's so heavy! It's a real easy piece to just put on and glam an outfit up.

This is the same as the ring above. It's a really big, heavy piece. On elastic, it's easy to wear and also will glam up an outfit in a second. This studded bracelet, at only £3 it's a fabulous piece. It's the same gold as the ring and earrings too! I seriously adore this bracelet and cannot wait to wear it!

I also bought 2 pairs of PU (leather look) leggings; a black pair and a gold pair too. I'm not 100% when I'll wear the gold pair but I was thinking with an all black outfit, they're look fabulous!

Bargain Oversized Jumpers.

I have been loving wearing my obligatory PU leggings with an oversized jumper - seeing as though the temperature has dropped a silly amount over the last few days. I wanted some warmer jumpers - apparently style does come above comfort. These very loose knit jumpers look super cute but really, you'd be better wearing a tshirt. I found 2 jumpers the other day that were super cheap (one a Primark bargain) and there was a huge choice. My secret? Wear mens!

The first jumper I found was while walking through a local market where I go for the farm stalls. I noticed a cable knit jumper in a nice army green - if such thing exists. It was on a normal clothing stall but its pretty similar to a fisherman's jumper available from army stores. They were men's jumpers and I picked up a small. I usually wear a size 8 (UK) on the top half and a small men's is about a size 12, so it is a little bigger. But just enough bigger. I love the fit and obviously the style and colour. It looks fabulous with PU leggings, my LV Speedy and some gold jewellery. And the best bit? It was only £6!

My second jumper was from Primark but also from the men's section. Its a gorgeous maroon colour with lighter flecks in it. And it has elbow patches. Yes. Elbow patches. It is fabulous. Also in a small it's also a great fit! It's a hell of a lot warmer than the women's ones available for the same price range - £10.

And She Went to the Ball!

And She went to the Ball!

The guy I'm currently seeing casually invited me to his graduation ball last week for last Saturday - nothing like short notice. This is a big event. I wanted the perfect outfit without wearing a prom dress, was it possible? The answer is yes! I thought about this seasons must haves and what I'd seen out on the high street at the moment. The first thing that came into my head was a long sheer skirt I'd seen in Primark- you will probably have seen it too. It comes in wine and a pale peach, for £14 its a total bargain! I though that, teamed with a plain black vest and some JC‘s would look simple yet gorgeous. With a good choice of accessories and a black clutch, this could work...

Only getting 4 days notice for this sort of event isn't ideal- though great to blog about! I didn't run through of hair and make up to try and decide what to do. I'd decided to keep my hair sleek and pulled back, perfect for my simple look. My make up, I wanted a simple eye with a deep lip. Nothing too over the top. My nails would be Essie's Sole Mate. I'd decided on my bargain drop cross earrings too- they look lovely with tied up hair!

The evening was amazing and I had such a good time. My outfit went together perfectly and I got loads of compliments! Apologies to any girls who spent a lot of time and effort on outfits. I'll post the pictures when I finally get them from the photographer!

FCUK You! OOTD.

Today is just a normal day but I am wearing two items from FCUK I got last week and a Primark bargain so I wanted to share with you.

Watch - Michael Kors at The Watch Shop. £229 S/S 2012.
Earrings - Market. 80p. (BARGAIN BUY!)
Peplum Vest - Primark. £4 Current.
Coat - FCUK. £325 Current.
Jeans - Topshop. £35.
Shoes - FCUK. £105 Current.
Handbag - Hermes. It was a gift!

I'm not an FCUK girl, in fact apart from a bag a few years ago, I don't like I own anything by them. But when I went into an FCUK store last week, I was blown away. The jacket is real leather with fully studded sleeves. At £325 it is a lot of money but it's something that I will have forever. The shoes are also from FCUK on the same shopping trip. I adored them! They are girly - though they don't look it. The bag is my beloved Hermes but I was given it as a gift. As usual I am wearing my Michael Kors watch and my bargain 80p earrings. The peplum vest is from Primark. It was £4 and I liked it because it's just a cotton vest it isn't stiff. And for £4, can you really complain?

This is my outfit of the day. A lot like my last and probably most of my OOTD posts to follow. Today I am wearing another studded jumper with some black skinny jeans and a pair of Dr Marten boots - though mine look no where near as nice as these ones! To glam it up I've wore this with a gold studded belt, cross dangle earrings and my Michael Kors gold watch. Finishing touch with my Speedy 35 as it's raining and dull today but I want to cheer up a little!

Earrings - Market 80p. (BARGAIN BUY!)
Studded Belt - The Lanes at Meadowhall. £10.
Bag. Louis Vuitton at Selfridges's. £375.
